Ladies, bold eyes are so now!!! Some of you may remember the 80′s, when bold color in just about any combination, was  in fashion… Well, here we are again, this time Finding fabYOUlous is highlighting the Peacock eye… I KNOW… fabYOUlous!!! Here’s the key (and it’s and old rule), pick the feature you want to highlight on your face and let that be the strongest feature!!! For instance, if you are wearing bold eyes (pictured above) everything else on the palette should be muted… Otherwise it could be considered, TOO MUCH!!! I think this eye could be worn for a night on the town with your “little black dress” or in jeans, a tank, ponytail and FIERCE heels…  Also, you could even opt to do this look for a black tie event. However, your hair should be worn either cropped short (no fringe), or back off the face, whenever you decided to rock this…

1). She’s got legs!!! And, she obviously isn’t afraid to flaunt them… So rule No. 1 show off your most fabYOUlous asset…

2). For a hot summer day… A beautiful caftan with varying hues of color is haute – especially with a FIERCE tipper (pumps baby… stilettos and things)…

3). The metallic sequins are a great combination for fuller figures. Why? Because the metallic color is intense, plus the raised sequins allows you to camouflage your body magic so that your lines are seamless, yet curvaceous!!!!

4 the $). ALWAYS wear the right bra (see my older post)!!! When you do, you can create a waistline (even if it is above your waist- a’la empire) right below your bust, by belting your garment… this technique works extremely well  for women with fuller hips and/or short torsos…

Finding fabYOUlous tips!!!

The Ladies definitely found FabYOUlous, yesterday at the Red Hot High Tea at Chicago’s Four Seasons Hotel, in the Grand Ballroom… This event was for an extremely FabYOUlous cause- benefiting The Primo Center For Women and Children. The Center was started by Diane Primo, however  FabYOUlous in her own right, she is also the illustrious wife of business mogul Quintin E. Primo III. The Primo Center is located on chicago’s westside and run by yet another FabYOUlous woman- Mrs. Shelly Cooper. The room was filled with women from ALL walks of life, cultures and style sense… It was truly Finding FabYOUlous for me!!!!

My mom’s face was FULL of makeup…. FabYOUlously done!!!! Ladies, when done correctly, a full face of makeup can look AMAZING and shave off a few years as well… Also, my mom use to LOVE to color her hair black…. A NO NO, as we get older (for men and women)!!!! I believe that we should go a little lighter as we age, finding the right hue that complements and is FabYOUlous (remember, it’s about you) for your complexion. Lighter hues seem to soften our features as we mature…. I must also admit that my mom works out regularly and even encourages me (because I STRUGGLE)!!!!
